The approximate environmental cost to publish an average book is about 1/10 of a tree. Our books are anything but average, but still, we value the idea of giving back more than we take as much as possible. Therefore, we made the commitment to plant a tree for every ten books sold. Today we celebrated our first 300 books sold by planting a cluster of 30 trees where they’re needed most.
This is one more step in our practice of being a Certified Green Business. Some other things we do include running our website on a server that runs on green energy, only purchasing 100% recycled paper (for both our printer and bathroom), and running the Ecosia browser, which also plants trees.
